Cook Homeschool:

I teach the Abeka curriculum to my two daughters, Adriana, age 8 and Kaylee, age 5. This year we are in the Second grade and Kindergarten. This is our our 4th year of homeschooling. Homeschooling is a wonderful part of our lives. We are able to spend a lot of time together as a family. My husband and I are able to know what our children are learning and make decisions about what they learn. We can decide on curriculum that is not given in public school, such as bible class. We can also watch the influences that our children are exposed to.

Adriana's Second Grade Curriculum:

(1) Bible (Taught together, with our children's Bible and a Bible Coloring Book)

(2) Language 2

(3) Handbook for Reading

(4) Arithmatic 2

(5) Test and Speed Drills

(6) History (Taught together)

Kaylee's Kindergarten Curriculum:

(1) Bible (Taught together)

(2) Phonics

(3) Numbers

(4) Poetry (Taught together)

(5) Readiness Skills

(6) Writing

*Science is taught daily by studying God's World* *Bible class is taught with the King James Versin Bible*

When was the last time you took time to look at all the amazing creatures and sights that God has put into our world. Take the time now.
